IHI E&C Shows Support for National Wear Red Day

According to the CDC, heart disease is  the cause of almost 25% of deaths in the United States.  It also is the leading cause of death of American women, killing more than a third of them each year.

On Friday, February 5, IHI E&C did its part to promote heart health by participating in National Wear Red Day, a day set aside by the American Heart Association on the first Friday of each February to help raise awareness of heart disease among women. By wearing red shirts, dresses, sweaters and jackets, employees and contractors sent a message to all to take care of their hearts and engage in healthier living.
