Experience & Expertise

With a long history in the industry, our team’s experience in gas processing work during recent years involves the whole range of engineering and management skills from conceptual design to start-up and operation. Study work and FEED package preparation is often part of a large project where we have progressed to the EPC scope or continued as the client’s project manager. In addition, we are able to draw on the resources of our parent company, IHI Corp., who has a world-renowned reputation in LNG tank technology.

Experienced Resources

IHI is a world leader in the EPC of low-temperature tanks, primarily LNG, and maintains a tank division dedicated specifically to LNG tank design and construction, and the capacity to provide engineering and construction services sufficient for an entire LNG receiving terminal.
Most of these IHI projects start with technology fatal flaw analysis, concept evaluations, and screening studies, followed by FEED and EPC project execution, fabrication, installation and start-up.

LNG Liquefaction

Our natural gas liquefaction experience has evolved from an impressive background in cryogenic gas processing and import and export LNG terminals. We employ technologies ranging from a simple closed-loop refrigeration system using nitrogen to complex processes involving mixed refrigerant (MR) systems with propane pre-cooling and dual mixed refrigerant (DMR) systems.

We work with the key technology suppliers in natural gas liquefaction, such as:

Our experience includes the design of natural gas liquefaction units ranging in size from less than 100,000 TPA to over five million TPA (MTPA) base load liquefaction facilities.
